PLANNED GIVING:

For the last few weeks I’ve written about Planned Giving through the weekly envelope scheme.  Now we move on to the second method which is the Standing Order.  This is where you instruct your bank to pay a regular monthly or quarterly payment directly into the parish bank account.  This has advantages for the parish in that the payments continue even when the donor is away, for instance on holiday.  And it has advantages for you in that you do not have to remember to fill your weekly envelope.  The amount you give and the frequency is entirely up to you and is confidential.  A special form is available, should you wish to take up this method.  If you would like to know more or would like to start a Standing Order, please contact David Savage on 380626.

PASTORAL COUNCIL:

The Pastoral Council met on 6th Jun, and the minutes are displayed on the notice board.
