Silence and echo fading,
Weave into one a welcome for the Son

Wealthy whose needs are stranger,
Weave into one a welcome for the Son,
Leave excess and want beneath the manger.

Weave into one a welcome for the Son,
The Saviour of shepherds and of sages.
