Loose Plate: £518.14

Planned Giving: £637.81

Average Weekly SOs: £562.00

Coffee Morning: £23.70

Hire of Hall; £284.50

OFFERTORY ENVELOPES - ‘PEEL & SEAL’:

This year’s envelopes, the green ones, have a ‘peel & seal’ flap. The advantage of this is that the contents of the envelope are more secure and money is prevented from falling out into the collection basket. However, the strip needs to be removed to make the seal effective. A number of envelopes are being received where this has not been done. May I ask for your cooperation in ensuring the flap is properly sealed. Should you be having any problems with your envelopes please contact David Savage on 380626. And, may I thank all of you who contribute through the envelopes for your continuing generosity.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL:

The Council met recently and the minutes are displayed on the notice boards.

The Council is holding its AGM on next Sunday 11th October at 7 p.m. in the Hall and you are invited to attend.

If you are interested in pastoral matters in the parish come along to the AGM and have your say.

CAFOD’S HARVEST FAST DAY:

Please place your Harvest Fast Day envelope in the normal offertory baskets. This weekend – if you have forgotten your envelopes, next weekend will not be too late! Thank you very much for your offerings in aid of CAFOD’s work in so many developing countries.

NEW VESTMENTS:

Fr. Cooke wishes to replace some Mass Vestments and if you wish to contribute to this please put your donation in an envelope marked ‘Vestments’. Thank you in anticipation.

TRAIDCRAFT STALL:

The Traidcraft stall is open this Sunday in the Hall after the 9.15 and 11.00 a.m. Masses. We are looking for volunteers to help run this stall, which operates on the first Sunday of each month. If you are interested in joining a rota to help occasionally with the stall, please speak to one of the people on duty this Sunday, or contact Helen Connor on 01244 317381.

POPE’S PRAYER INTENTIONS:
